Cultural Exploration w/ Dro [Mid-City - 6 weeks]

Cultural Exploration is a unique POT class series that encompasses our mission to preserve and expand culture through clay. This 6-week series is taught by a new teaching artist each session, who brings their own cultural practice to the series. 

March - April 2025 series will be taught by Dro Watson.

With Dro's guidance and unique cultural background students will learn surface decoration techniques and incorporate them into one larger piece that explores a personal or cultural narrative. Students will be invited to interpret and express their own culture or personal narratives in various ways - there are no right or wrong ways. 

This is a level 2 series. This series is for ages 16+ with basic handbuilding experience, or anyone who has at least taken Intro to Handbuilding with us.
