Pickles 101: Making & Ornament Painting

POT & Yara Community Project present a festive night for pickle lovers - learn how to make pickles and paint your own pickle ornaments too!

Learn the fundamentals of pickling from Yara the Community Project as you graze on our pickle sample table and make your own jar of pickles to take home. Then paint pickle ornaments with POT in time for Christmas! 

Pickles are a big part of food cultures around the world and a great way to support gut health.  All vegetables, jars, ornaments and materials will be provided!

Yara Community Project is led by Roya Aghavali and Delaram Ahmady. Their mission is to build bridges through cross-cultural programming.

The Info:

• Included: Pickle grazing table, lesson on pickling, your own jar of pickles that you'll make and keep, and one pickle ornament that you'll paint
• Ages 12+. Ages 12 - 17 required to sign up with an adult
• All materials provided, take home everything same day
• No experience required. 
• This is NOT a pottery workshop
