Persian Calligraphy (خوشنویسی ایرانی) is one of the most revered arts throughout Persian history. The history of calligraphy in Iran dates back to the pre-Islamic era when Zoroastrian-influenced Persian culture held beautiful writings in high esteem. Its popularity skyrocketed following the arrival of Islam. It is an essential part of Iranian arts and deeply rooted in Persian culture and aesthetics.

This is NOT a pottery workshop. For ages 16+. All materials provided. No experience required.

This workshop has bi-lingual English/Farsi access. Class will be taught in English, but Farsi translation will be available.
