Iranian Ceramics
Iranian Ceramics
Taught by POT’s Iranian founder, Mandy, these one-time pottery classes offer a welcoming space to connect with Iranian culture, build community with the diaspora, and preserve your roots through a fun and easy handbuilding project.
No Farsi required, classes are taught in English.
As part of our mission to preserve culture and build community, we prioritize safe, inclusive space for marginalized MENA identities, including queer, Black, and ethnic minorities. This is a great space to come if you're partially Iranian, you are still Iranian, come through!
In solidarity, partial proceeds support HEAL Palestine

Can’t wait to go back! This was my first hand-building experience and it was so educational and soothing. Awesome teacher, wonderful space :)
It was really lovely that all the materials and supplies were included for those of us who do not regularly do ceramics. The space was really wonderful. The instructor was fantastic and I learned so much about the process and about Persian culture. It was just a really fantastic experience and a really welcoming, inclusive environment.
This was my first time trying pottery. It was very fun and the instructor was super friendly! Highly recommend.
As a first-timer, I had no idea what to do or expect. The studio was super vibrant and fun. The instructor that night, Emon, was extremely warm, welcoming, and patient with everyone in the room. It was obvious everyone was having a great time, and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I was amazed at how attentive and accommodating he was with everyone in the room, making each person feel as though they were getting 1:1 support, attention, and encouragement. A great space with loving community -- will definitely be back and will invite friends!
