Drop-In Wheel Throwing: [Echo Park]
Drop-In Wheel Throwing: [Echo Park]
This is a one-time, 2-hour beginners wheel throwing class.
Learn how to make a piece on the potters wheel (aka wheel throwing) as one of our friendly instructors takes you step-by-step through the basics. These classes are a great low-commitment way to try pottery for the first time. Zero experience required, designed for total beginners.
It takes multiple classes to trim, glaze, and finish a piece - so keeping a piece is not included. If you'd like to keep a piece, we can glaze it black and fire it for you for an additional fee.
For ages 16+. All materials included. BYOB welcome.
Payment plans available
Hosted at POT : 1933 Echo Park Ave., 90026

Everyone was so nice and our teacher was super informative and encouraging!
The Drop-In Wheel Throwing class was an absolute blast! My girlfriend and I were excited to get learn the craft, and our instructor Ollin was an incredible teacher. He lead a very chill and fun session with a full class of equally green students, keeping up all excited, focused, interested, and giving good advice for how each of us can put our own spin on our piece (which we kept). The studio space was inviting and the whole vibe was just enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this session to anyone interested in pottery as well as anyone who just wants an afternoon of creative fun.
The Drop-In Wheel Throwing class was a perfect introduction for me. Our instructor was patient with us newbies and super friendly. I can't wait to take a series class!
