Wheel 1 [Mid-City - 4 weeks]
4-class introductory wheel throwing series for first-timers at our Mid-City location, POT Gardens. Each class 2 hours long.
We'll take you step-by-step through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, trimming and glazing to make pieces from start to finish. All materials, firing & glazing included to take home pieces.
Please only sign up if you can make all 4 classes. Our classes are designed to provide a beginners friendly environment for people of color. For ages 13+. Ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult who takes the class with them. Ages 17+ are welcome to sign up alone.

Loved this class with Clarke, was very informative as well as a lot of fun learning something totally new and creative. Would love to take more classes and continue to improve in this medium.

Angel was extremely helpful and patient. Instructions were clear and any assistance needed was given. A great experience and an excellent way to get introduced to wheel throwing.
Had a blast with my first pottery wheel class. I liked getting my hands in clay. Clarke is phenomenal instructor.
I had a death in my family and had to stop halfway through the 4-class series, but the classes I went to with Clarke were FUN and informative! I can't wait to get back in to do more! Highly recommend.
