Extended Wheel Throwing for beginners at POT Gardens on Mid-City - 6-week series.
In this 6-week series designed for beginners, we'll take you step-by-step through the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Dive deeper with focused instruction on every part of the wheel throwing process, as well as more time to practice.
This series offers more instruction, more practice time, and more pieces to take home. For those who want to learn how to throw independently or be a member one day. You'll even make a cup and bowl set to keep at the end!
No experience required. For ages 16+. All materials, firing and glazing included to take home pieces.
Each class is 2 hours. We encourage you to make it to every class as they build on each other. We recommend students who take this class to jump into Wheel 3 afterwards.

Had a blast with Aram in the 6 week wheel extendo class. He was so patient and kind and it was just a really good vibe all around! 10/10 would recommend!
Angel was a hip and open minded ceramics teacher! Love my (going to be) 6 weeks of ceramics class - very therapeutic, creative, fun and makes you be present! I’d probably go onto the next class series when I’m ready for a weekly hobby-commitment :)
Enjoyed the instructor. He took time with each student to make sure we understood each technique (ie. centering, opening etc. he was the perfect balance between Angels informal approach and Desmond’s formal approach to teaching. I really enjoyed this class and especially loved have more time to practice throwing. Thank you to whoever created extendo!
