I loved this class. Ollin is a great teacher, and being in a crafting space with a majority of other WOC students was so relaxing and healing.

this is my second wheel class at pot la echo park and i’m already planning my third. pot la is such a welcoming, unique and fun environment and they remove a lot of the pressure on learning how to make ceramics. special shout-out to ollin!

The class moved so slowly and the instructor waited what seemed to be much longer than what people needed to get each step. We ended up not having enough time in the class to do as many pieces as he said we'd be able to do because we spent so much time stopping down and a chatting about non-pottery related topics. I felt that the class lacked momentum and felt frustrated and alienated because of that. The instructor vibed with one class member and everyone else took a backseat to that relationship. I really like the vibe and setup of the studio, but I wouldn't want to take a class here again because of the pacing problem. I learned some good basic skills that I've been able to take with me now that I am a member of a studio where they let you come in to practice between classes.

I was able to practice things I learned in Wheel 1 and also build new skills. The teachers are so supportive and helpful and make the learning process fun!
