HANDBUILDING

Handbuilding is all things pottery without sitting at the wheel. If wheel throwing is pottery therapy, then handbuilding is pottery arts & crafts time. Its therapeutic too.

Easier, beginners friendly, and more forgiving than the wheel, there are less rules with handbuilding. This leaves space for more creativity.

-All materials and tools included

WHEEL THROWING

Our most popular class!  At POT we liken wheel throwing to pottery therapy because you are present, kept off your phone, and distracted from the outside world. It combines all four natural elements of earth, water, air, and fire for a grounding and therapeutic experience.

Wheel throwing is fun, it's cultural, and its human

You will receive step by step instruction on wheel throwing, from step one. Build a strong foundation with POT

Zero pottery experience required, you’ll be in a class full of first timers so no need to feel intimidated. We're a beginner’s oriented studio, part of our mission is to accommodate adults who have not felt comfortable exploring pottery before.  We invite you to try a new hobby with chill teachers who genuinely love the craft.
